This year is the 10th edition of The Architectural Prize of the Mayor of Warsaw. This is a competition in which jurors select the best objects, public spaces and architectural events carried out in Warsaw. The projects are assessed by experts in the fields of architecture, urban planning, landscape design, as well as the history and criticism of architecture.

The exhibition is an original interpretation of nine previous editions of the competition. Impressive images of Warsaw were created by Zuza Gadomska – illustrator, graphic designer and architect. In the colorful illustrations you will find objects that have had the greatest impact on the capital’s landscape in recent years.

Special prizes are also awarded: Residents’ Award, award for pro-ecological solutions, award for solutions ensuring accessibility and the Grand Prix. However, we organized the exhibition according to a different key. The illustrated topics reflect the areas of the most significant changes that have occurred in the landscape of Warsaw in recent years.

Therefore, the narrative opens with an illustration dedicated to the Vistula River, whose banks have become accessible and attractive again. You will also find here a vision of the City of Warsaw, wonderful buildings of cultural institutions, and large residential and service complexes in post-industrial areas. The exhibition also features architecture for education, created with great care for its users. We have placed the full list of competition winners on the map.
