In front of the pavilion you can see an artistic installation by Herbert Raniszewski – a painter and creator of miniature colorful houses. They have become a new element of the square, woven into the greenery.
The artist’s street art campaign has been ongoing since 2021. During this time, he placed hundreds of colorful houses in the center of Warsaw.
The motif of houses has always appeared in his work. However, it was only in the form of these tiny objects placed in public space that it acquired additional meanings. Their source is also the interaction with all the people who find, look at and photograph these houses, but unfortunately sometimes they also destroy, tear out and steal them.
The artist wants each person who finds the houses to be able to independently discover their own interpretation. Sometimes you can just smile at the sight of a colorful house hidden in a gray concrete thicket.
Here, exceptionally, you will see dozens of houses in one place. Later, like the previous ones, they will disperse to various corners of Warsaw and stay there for many months, or just for a while.
