11th edition of The Architectural Prize of the Mayor of Warsaw

On the square in front of the pavilion we present objects nominated for 11th edition of The Architectural Prize of the Mayor of Warsaw.

This is a competition in which the best facilities, public spaces and architectural events that were implemented in Warsaw in the past year are selected. The projects are assessed by a group of experts in the fields of architecture, urban planning, landscape design, as well as the history and criticism of architecture.

Residents’ Plebiscite.

Residents can vote on which buildings, places or events deserve their award.

The list includes 17 exceptional projects. This is a wonderful list that shows how Warsaw is changing thanks to architecture into an even more livable city.

We have city investments: a pedestrian and bicycle bridge, the Museum of Modern Art, Chmielna and Bracka in a new version, a school at Świderska Street, a completely unique Intergenerational Center at Korotyńskiego Street and the Suwak linear park, each of them responding to the needs of Warsaw residents. The nominations also include a student residence of the University of Warsaw, a sweet Chocolate Museum, an office block, important revitalizations: the Cepelia Pavilion and the Palace of the Republic – National Library, there are new houses and even a tram depot. We have not forgotten about architectural events either.

The full list of nominees can be found on the website Architectural Prize of the Mayor of Warsaw.

Congratulations to all the nominees!
