Where did Warsaw come from? What architectural style were most tenement houses designed in? Who holds office in the rebuilt palaces today? Where did Warsaw’s rivers flow? What is the genesis of MDM?

You will hear answers to these and many other interesting questions during eleven lectures that we provide together with the Fundacja Centrum Architektury.

The organizer of the competition and the founder of the prize is the President of the capital city of Warsaw. Warsaw. The award is granted in cooperation with:

• Warsaw Branch of the Association of Polish Architects
• Masovian Regional Chamber of Architects of the Republic of Poland
• Warsaw District of The Association of Polish Urban Planners

:W CENTRUM is a project that addresses global challenges in the local context of Warsaw. We refer to the experiences and patterns of cities from around the world. We operate in constant relation to the conditions of the New Center of Warsaw, and we implement pilot architectural interventions in public space. The topics explored so far have been:
